Cherie wanted to keep this bulletin until her column next Friday, but I put my Chanel clad ballerina foot down.
I tried to explain to her that one does not sit on hot news. (She has absolutely no background in the fundamentals of journalism — and that’s not all, but we don’t have time for details on a beautiful, sunny Saturday.)
I’m hoping you haven’t heard about Karl’s latest fashion venture. He is now, or at least until the end of the month, dressing bottles of Coca-Cola light. He follows in the footsteps, literally in this case, of Manolo Blahnick and in the mode mold of Roberto Cavalli and more recently, Nathalie Rykiel.
His Coke is on sale at the achingly chic boutique, Colette in Paris.
Cherie is wondering if the bottles could one day be collector’s items. She does have a certain sense of values I can’t help but admire.
