My heart was in it this week as you can see. Lots of charming women out and about in Paris. That always makes it easier.
I had one refusal, une femme head to toe in black including her wild hair — very dramatic — who from what I could ascertain was agreeing to my proposition. She explained she was a former model. I replied, “Well, that explains everything.”
We then moved into the conversation about her being anonymous in this space. I pointed out I didn’t know who she was, only those who have my blog address could find the picture, and she knew who I was because I just handed her my card. She countered that people would know who she is.
However, if she thinks that many people are reading this blog, that’s news to me. I couldn’t be more pleased.
She was very nice in her refusal btw as she folded my card and put it into her pocket. I was ever so mildly annoyed that she folded my card.
I didn’t see color this week. What I did see were ubiquitous ballerinas; camel; note the jeans shirt above ( I told you); and rolled jeans. Pseu, I think you asked me about the trend. You were right. Again.
At the top, pure vintage. Except for the Dior bag of course.
Ed. Note: Can you believe it’s April? Neither can I.
