Today’s decade, the 50s, that strange age when all is going beautifully or life is in total turmoil.
The nest clears out, job-hunting, which some of you confided is not the least bit fun, may be part of your day, and relationships may breakdown or become stronger than ever. Some of you are in the throes of a new romance. The 50s, you tell me, is a decade of the fabulous, the good, the bad and the complicated.
Thank you not only for being such good sports about sending in your pictures, but also for sharing your concerns, joys and fears in the e-mails that accompanied them. Some of you admitted you didn’t particularly like the idea of going public with your photographs. Believe me, I feel your pain, but let me assure you, I must have the best looking readers in all the blogosphere.
Now, why doesn’t that surprise me?
“Over 50 Feeling 40“
I can assure you this is a series that has a serious life span. If others of you hesitated, you have plenty of time to reconsider and send your picture to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Finally, we’re not the only ones liking this series. Please visit Women’s Voices for Change and you’ll see what they think about us. Although I’ve written for this intelligent, stylish site before, thanks to Stacey, creator of the chicly sophisticated blog, Quintessence, and contributing editor to the site,I’ve been invited to write a monthly column. Very exciting.
A demain for more about you.
