|Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara.|
The makeup artist said to me, “You have gorgeous eyelashes.” (On that note I started reaching for my credit card.) “But,” he continued, “if you don’t change your mascara immediately they will all break and fall off. Your mascara is drying out your lashes. They’re brittle.”
Well, I never. Have you ever thought about dry eyelashes? We get carried away with lengtheners, thickeners, fibers, brushes that curl, brushes that separate, brushes that curl and separate, but dry lashes (?); it never occurred to me.
Of course I tossed my brand which made me extremely happy on the separating and lengthening front, but would apparently inevitably lead to no lashes and bought the Clarins mascara pictured above. It promises and delivers on “volume, curl and length.” I, of course, give it a leg-up on the curl front because I always use an eyelash curler.
The product explanation does not mention “moisturizes lashes while giving them volume, curl and length,” but I decided to trust the expert. And, it’s true, my lashes feel softer.
|“Nude” the most perfect non-color color I have ever found.|
While I was perusing the Clarins counter between interviews I also happened upon the lip color of my dreams. It’s a gloss; it’s called “Nude.” It’s beautiful. It’s me.
The gloss is non-sticky, natural looking only much, much better. Peptides with hyaluronic acid make lips appear slightly fuller and it has an amazing shine without the gook. You could kiss someone immediately if you were so inclined.
Et voila, that’s what I do to pass the time between important meetings.
Off to Paris. . .
