|The women who can teach us all a few lessons on living life to the fullest , the true translation of la joie de vivre.|
A friend sent me this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4znrNtLKDE4 I thought you would find it as inspiring and fascinating as I did. Perhaps many of you have seen this marvelous show, but for those of you who haven’t, or for those who, like me, can’t stop “rewinding,” here you go. . .
It’s not at all the obvious, it is the esprit of these women, women who have seen, suffered and celebrated life and have learned the most important lesson of all: get up, get dressed and get out there — life is an adventure and as long as you can take some control over your destiny, carpe diem.

There is not a Pollyanna in the group, just an eclectic collection of individuals who decided how they wanted to live the rest of their lives and then set about making it happen.
How we rock out our lives, health permitting, is our choice. It could be in a chair or it could be dressing up for the party.

None of these women, the moderator tells us, has had “work” done. It seems to me they’ve passed that tricky stage/age where it’s tempting, when we see how time has marched across our faces and bodies, to consider tweaks or more radical interventions. Then, perhaps, a woman discovers she likes her new (old) face, it’s hers, it’s her life, she earned it, it’s her badge of honor. Maybe, I don’t know.
All of these women are fighting the good fight, but in a different arena. Not one is trying to look younger, no, instead each is a magnificent invention of her own making.
