For those of you who use foundation, and the experts tell me we should all be using it, and a liquid is your product of choice, I have a little bijou of a trick for you.
My foundation is in a pump bottle which facilitates the ease of this idea. I know it would work with all liquid makeup. Let’s talk about my pump then:
Hold bottle in your right hand (if you’re left-handed you would probably do the reverse)
Put a half-pump onto the area, on the opposite hand, between the bottom of the thumb bone — I’m sure there is a scientific name for it, but I don’t know it — and the wrist. This is your “palette.”
Even though the pros say eschewing foundation is a grave error, particularly for us, they do qualify their position by noting that that does not mean a woman needs to cover her entire face in foundation, “only where she needs it,” they say.
If your skin is your shining glory, a little tinted moisturizer or one of the BB or CC creams will do the trick and can be applied with the same finesse.
