Padded hangers for baby. I wish I had these when we photographed Ella’s new clothes.
The headline should really read: “Ella’s Spring & Summer Wardrobe Update”. . .
What girl doesn’t need a sundress for summer? And, just think, the idea of covering her arms has not — and may never -occur to Ella.
Before Ella and Andrea arrived I found the peachy-pink corduroy jumper and the white cotton sundress with yellow embroidery, both at Monoprix. You know how much I love Monoprix.
Note the attention to detail with the gray lining on the top of the jumper. The corduroy is velvety fine. Now I need to find just the right blouse to finish the look for this winter. I have time. It’s a size 18 months.
The jumper was apparently from last fall because the price was slashed by 60 percent. How exciting is that?!

Andrea, while strolling around Paris with Ella strapped on her front and centre, ran into Petit Bateau and exited with two rompers.
Later in their trip, I popped into Monoprix (again) to stock up on my favorite Lotus cotton pads, which happen to be in the baby department — I use them for makeup removal as I believe I’ve mentioned on several occasions. Because one is obliged to pass through the “ready-to-wear” section of baby land I happened to see two tiny T-shirt camisoles and a pair of cotton bloomers. What’s a grandmother to do?

You see what I did.
