|Forever Chic in Italian. How fun is that?|
As of this week, Forever Chic exists in Italian.
The publisher, Pemme Voci, was one of the first to buy my book, long before I had finished writing it. It seems they liked the proposal and, most certainly, had confidence in Rizzoli’s decision to take a chance on me.
When Rizzoli receives a few copies they’ll send me a couple. What fun it will be to see Forever Chic in another language.
I love the exuberance of the cover. Thank heaven the book does include “starting young” advice and counsel.
Back in the day, when I was living in the States and flying to Europe twice a year to cover the ready-to-wear collections I loved the weeks in Italy. The clothes were always smart and creative and so, so Italian in their impeccable tailoring and ebullient colors and details. The atmosphere surrounding the collections and the parties had a completely different vibe than those in Paris and London — less serious, more fun.
