|For every minute that we wait between applying treatment products, we guarantee they will deliver more benefits. We can all find something to do for the minutes in-between layering.|
My great, great friend Sharon Santoni of the gorgeous blog, My French Country Home, and I are finally having our “new year’s” lunch. First, back in November, we started talking about our holiday, pre-Christmas déjeuner; then, as so often happens with us, the days flew by and I flew off to Chicago.
You see where this is going. . . at last we can sit down to another one of our five hour marathon catch-up gossips. So exciting.
Taking my laptop with me because she has promised to teach me some new tricks that I can apply to my soon-to-be revealed, new and improved blog(!) because, as you know, I am a total tech twit and Sharon is a very clever girl.
Because you asked, tomorrow I’ll tell you about the care and storing of my scarves.
While I’m here, let me tell you something I forgot that my dermatologist, Dr. Gallais, told me. She said she suspected (right she was) that I wasn’t taking the extra minutes between my serum and moisturizer applications which gives each one the time it needs to penetrate the skin. She said to wait a couple of minutes after the serum before applying the moisturizer, then a few more before makeup.
|When I was first introduced to this product and shown how to use it under makeup, I loved it. Now that I know it is can also be used over makeup, I’m in thrall.|
As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, when I want a really surprisingly “I am a star” glow, I slap on — sort of literally for the slap part — a tiny pea size portion of Clarins Baume Beauté Eclair over my finished face.
I wonder whether Sharon will notice that I will be Red Carpet ready. . .
*If you click here you’ll find a story I wrote for one of the most extraordinary sites in the world (I really believe this): Women’s Voices for Change. It’s part of a Valentine’s Day series. It’s all about, well, you’ll see. . .
A demain, I’m out the door.
