Wrapping up our Cinderella evening fairy tale dressing, which, as I said, I hope you’re enjoying, here again are the five dresses I think any of us might wear.
As before, ballerina flats accompany each gown so that we can enjoy the evening after bravely making our entrance on those high, high heels. Then, the two final gowns are accessorized differently with the idea that one collection feels more French and the other more American.
Toting the ballerinas when one is equipped only with a delicate evening bag can be a challenge. I’ve given the conundrum considerable thought and I have but one solution, which I admit is not ideal. Give them to the person in the vestiaire, this is assuming of course that you will check a coat. If your formal affair is in the summer, I’m still pondering that problem.
As you can see, we have gone into the vaults to pull out our most precious baubles.
Which side feels more French to you? Which side more American? Or, could it go either way?
As we know, the devil is always in the details n’est-ce pas?
