Marie-Laure is the co-owner of Daveau-Queysanne, a stand of art objects, lighting and a few curiosities, in the Saint-Quen flea market at the porte de Clignancourt.
While Sharon Santoni and I were strolling around before lunch we saw Marie-Laure arranging her collection. “Look at her,” Sharon whispered.

There is a Parisian joke about the way women — and men — dress. “It’s all about black,” one comedian explained.
Then he added, “Oh, yes and sometimes a little grey.”
It may be about black and grey, but as you can see here there are no rules and when a woman has style and personality, she makes these neutrals her own.
Note: cross-body bag, glasses, huge earrings and the touch of whimsy in the sneakers. Oh, yes, and then there is her hair.
