Frenchwomen are passionate about white shirts. I know I’ve said this before, but last night, on her farewell newscast, journalist and anchorwoman, Claire Chazal, in a crisp white blouse demonstrated once again her faultless style. (More on her tomorrow.)
To prove my premise, I’ve collected the proof. If ever one had a doubt, here are myriad examples showing that a white blouse is the ultimate response to: “What shall I wear?”
So, what do you think?
I’m thinking it’s time to break away from all my black-on-black and even my navy-on-navy and top everything off with one of my white blouses.
Notice how sculpted this blouse is? A shirt doesn’t necessarily — who doesn’t like a roomy man’s shirt from time to time? — have to follow one’s curves, but I think we should all own one that does.
