One of my favorite French maxims (of course it’s a joke — with a nice edge to it) is: “Why do something simply when you can make it complicated?”
I was thinking about this in the middle of the night in one of those moments between two sleep cycles. I’m wondering if I make life complicated. No, I don’t think so.
Well, then again, on the wardrobe/closet front it’s gotten complicated. I’ve set aside two hours today to simplify.
Since I’m just back from my aqua gym class I’m feeling energetic.
First though, I intend to rush outside with Charlotte and savour this gorgeous, gorgeous day. I just discovered our apple trees are laden with fruit. Charolotte can watch me harvest the crop.
Later I’ll make a very large batch of compote de pommes.
Tomorrow will be equally beautiful and there will be a huge brocante in the town near our village.
I’ll take pictures for you.
