For the Nell Hill’s book signing in Kansas City tomorrow (I’ve never been to Kansas City, can you believe it?), I’m keeping it simple and I’m sure you’re not remotely surprised — my vestment theme will be black(!).
This party, in the gorgeous store owned by Mary Carol Garrity, is a daytime event so simple seemed best. Actually, simple is always best for me under any circumstances.
Normally I wouldn’t wear a necklace and earrings together, but strictly speaking I don’t consider a circular pendant hanging off of a black cord a necklace, if you see what I mean.
What I’ll be wearing Wednesday is not strictly what is pictured here, but it’s very close. I don’t own those gorgeous stacking rings. Wish I did. And my leopard ballerinas are slightly different. The rest is pretty much the same.
Now, I’m off to the airport to be met by one of my very, very best friends, Judy Diebolt.
This will be non-stop fun.
Tonight for dinner, I’ll wear the midnight navy V-neck Bompard sweater My-Reason-For-Living-In-France gave me a couple of weeks ago.
I told you that story. . .
I am so looking forward to meeting you.
