You are probably thinking, “She’s getting very lazy these days. Why isn’t she posting on her usual schedule?”
I’m very glad you asked. . .
For some pertinent, combined with some boring obligations and must finish projects, I’m feeling a little frazzled. I leave for the States next weekend and since I’ll be away from home for almost two months it’s necessary to set some self-regulating routines in motion. I’m sure you know how that works.
On the news front (literally): While watching the news the other night, it occurred to me that you might be interested in a current hot debate in France. And, perhaps not surprisingly, it involves food.
Once again it pertains to school lunches and the big question is: Shouldn’t we be offering vegetarian meals?
Why this is a debate at all heaven only knows, except for the fact that the French love debate wherever they can find it. They can argue — at length — the proper consistency of a mousse au chocolat, the correct temperature of a Brouilly and whether Sartre was a fraud, all during the same dinner party.
I’m on the, yes, definitely, offer vegetarian lunches — maybe with some a wedge of Brie or Reblochon.
