How wonderful you are. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your extraordinarily kind, encouraging comments. Thank you too for sharing your stories. I don’t think I can ever truly express how moved I was by your taking the time to write. You are always a great support system for me.
For those of you who emailed me, I promise to answer each and every one of you. I’m right now in the middle of polishing the chapters for my next book with my editor and the work is consuming me. I even cheated this week and did another interview because the woman, a doctor, was irresistible (I’ll tell you more about her in a future post). I’m slipping her comments into the beauty chapter.
One of my favorite quotes from her was: “I used to think women in their 40s were the most beautiful, now I think it’s women in their 50s and 60s. I truly believe that there is something beautiful about every woman.”
She told me her patients were between the ages of 35 and 80-plus.
My situation: Mostly the same and will continue that way. The good news, among the not so good, is that the pneumonia that put MRFLIF in the hospital and rehab for six weeks is almost entirely cured.
As for Charlotte, she takes her meds and we just keep appreciating her one day at a time. We hope the inevitable will take as long as possible.
Again, you mean the world to me. xo
